The Ozark 2104T banjo is a good quality 4 string tenor banjo. It is well built with diecast one piece shell and flange and 30 plated brackets for even tension with a single co-ordinator rod. The rim, tailpiece and machine heads have good quality chrome pllating, matching the armrest. An 11” diameter Remo ‘weatherking’ head is fitted together with a good quality maple bridge. The detachable resonator has a convex back and is fully bound in ivory colour binding. It comes in a padded Ozark gig bag for protection.

The tenor banjo is often used in jazz and Irish music. Usual tuning is A-D-G-C (like a viola) but Irish musicians often use E-A-D-G tuning (an octave below the violin and mandolin) (tunings shown 1st to bass).
